  • Never use physical violence and avoid violent arguments as well. If you are at a point in your relationship that violence seems possible then the relationship should either be fixed or ended.
  • Never force her/him into doing things that she/he isn’t comfortable with, especially sex.
  • Be careful what you say in public. Most people don’t like personal stuff to be known to others. Keep things like sex, underwear, hygiene and the likes of it. Don’t embarrass her.
  • Let her have her personal space and private time alone or with friends. Don’t be too clingy.
  • Think about what you say, don’t tell her things that will make her feel bad. These actions are hard to forget.

Never shout at her. Be calm. It’s often very hard but since nothing good comes out of being angry, swearing, or shouting controlling your emotions is a good skill to learn. Be civil and logical without forgetting that feelings are often irrational and need their own way of treatment.
